Honoring The Fallen – Teaching The History
Our Mission Through The Honor Ridge Project:
To create educational experiences, patriotic social and virtual platforms and technology. We will remind current generations and teach future generations about the United States of America. How we gained our freedoms, the enormous price that was paid for our freedoms and why those freedoms matter.
We will share the stories of our battles and wars throughout history. How The United States of America has become the most generous, powerful and caring nation on Earth.
Everything we do will be to help educate and serve our great nation, to protect The Constitution of United States of America and to Honor all who served and fought for our Freedoms.
Through peace time and war time the truth must be shared and the beacon of light to the world that is, The United states of America, must always be preserved.
The early development timeline is listed below. We will be able to accelerate buildout based on member growth.
Honor Ridge is being built by Patriots just like you. It is a Patriot funded and Patriot Lead Community & Platform created to fulfil The Honor Ridge Project Mission.
People who truly care about our great nation, about all who served and sacrificed for the freedoms that we hold so dear. Patriots who want to Honor all who served and make a difference for those who served and those who are serving today.
Americans who want our children to know the truth about The United States of America and for what it stands. What being an American really means.
President Ronald Regan, in 1989, at his Farewell Address to The Nation asked us, “are we doing a good enough job teaching our children what America is and what she represents in the long history of the world?”
“We were taught, very directly, what it means to be an American. And we absorbed, almost in the air, a love of country and an appreciation of its institutions. If you didn’t get these things from your family you got them from the neighborhood… .Or you could get a sense of patriotism from school. And if all else failed you could get a sense of patriotism from the popular culture.”
Then, he challenged us all to do “a better job of getting across that America is freedom-freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It’s fragile; it needs protection.
He then added that “we’ve got to teach history based not on what’s in fashion but what’s important – why the Pilgrims came here...”
Before he said “goodbye, God bless you, and God bless the United States of America” Reagan said “lesson number one about America: All great change in America begins at the dinner table. So, tomorrow night in the kitchen I hope the talking begins. And children, if your parents haven’t been teaching you what it means to be an American, let ’em know and nail ’em on it. That would be a very American thing to do.”
